Hiya Triangle Mamas,
I'm working like crazy to bring the beautiful singer/songwriter --a Peace Troubadour, Cecilia St. King www.CeciliaStKing.com to Raleigh, this Friday night, Feb 10th. The UU PEACE Fellowship has agreed to host the event for free, which we are so thrilled and grateful for. (Click on the link www.CeciliaStKing.com and turn on your speakers to activate her music, and you can listen to her SHINE while you enjoy the rest of my post.)
Things happened quickly. Last week I learned about Cecilia online and read her message and her intention, and felt inspired to help--to find a place for her to perform and to find an audience for her powerful message. She is spreading Peace and Love through her music, as she travels up the East Coast from Florida, returning to her hometown, in NYC. She has been singing house concerts, visiting Peace Foundations like River Phoenix Peace Center, prisons, and sleeping on couches, in motels.
Cecilia is a survivor of 9/11 and went through an amazing life transformation that has led her to share her beautiful and powerful message of finding inner peace to create Peace on Earth through her music. She will be here in Raleigh tomorrow prepping for her concert on Friday. Wooheeeeee!!!!
I'm trying to tell as many gorgeous people as possible about her amazing story, and the concert (which BTW, is FREE, but love donations are very appreciated--she needs gas and food money). We need to pack the church and have a fantastic celebration for Love and Peace!
This is a great evening out for singles, couples and/or families too, as the church is having a bring your own dinner party at 6, followed by some Valentine crafting, then the music will begin about 7:30.
I've included an image that about sums it up.
The event is listed on FB at https://www.facebook.com/events/314162275301485/ .
Thank you for reading this crazy wonderful story. We are building momentum around the event. Me and my cherubs will be there, and I SOOOOO hope you can join us to celebrate and bring greater PEACE and Love to our area.
Love Love Love...
