Speaking of Montessori...The Joyful Child

To carry on my I Montessori love fest, I wanted to share this. If you are interested in homeschool Montessori Style, or just want a really great book, pick up The Joyful Child Essential Montessori for Birth to Three

It looks and feels like a workbook, but it combines Montessori products ( wood toys, cloth and nature items, books, work stations, etx) with explainations of each environment of learning ( family life, food, art, culture, math).

And I love it because there are photos of co-sleeping, baby wearing, gentle parenting, kids playing with nature, and babies in cloth diapers.
The books are holistic, AP, pro-breastfeeding, and anti-contaiment ( swings, cribs, etc).
You can pick it up FREE , and they also print the age 6-12 book at the Michael Olaf Company
Both my kids go to Montessori, but I like the book to carry on the style at home, and to learn more about how my kids are learning.

Hey KeysMama-
Tell me more about Monessori. My baby's 8months right now. We may be moving and then I'll have to go back to work. So, I'd need daycare. I was thinking about Montessori but I don't really know anything. Help!
