How fast did your uterus grow in early pregnancy?

Hello all!

I am pregnant with my fifth baby, and just had my first midwifes appointment yesterday.  I am 12 weeks, and the midwife said my uterus is at my belly button!  She didn't seem concerned, said it wasn't as wide as she would expect with twins, and that maybe I'm just carrying high...  Has anyone else had their uterus that high that early?  When I measured at home, I got a measurement of 17.5 cm.  Even more strange is that with my other pregnancies I measured 2-3cm behind the whole time.  So this is ALOT bigger than normal for me!

So tell me, what are your measurements this pregnancy?

I am 15 cm at 14 weeks, but it's my first.  Some of the women on my DDC said that they measure bigger because they've had more kids.  Your growth does sound high, but if your midwife is not concerned, I wouldn't be.

I too am expecting #5 and at my 16w midwife apt I was measuring 21cm and we have confirmed with ultrasound just 1 baby! Our bodies know what to do and I guess just get on board quicker with each baby.
