Gifted education resources/groups in the state of AK?

Can anyone point me to gifted educations resources/support groups in our state?
I know gifted education is lumped in with SPED in our state but I find nothing else in the state SPED page other than for learning disabilities.

Other than gifted classes which are specialised & therefore under the SPED umbrella, I don't know. Did you try contacting the head of the SPED department for your school district? I rarely find useful information on any school websites. They don't seem to put much out there, but are generally helpful if you call or speak in person.
