I'm coming into this pregnancy in the middle of eating a very limited diet to control colitis symptoms. Basically for the past several months I've just been eating chicken and potatoes (pasture-raised birds, organic potatoes) and my own broth made from the bones, plus a little homemade applesauce. I started adding in some vegetable juicing last week, which is a little iffy in terms of digestion but has to be great in terms of nutrients. Can't handle any veggies or grains because the fiber makes me bloat like I'm 5 months pregnant and causes terrible cramping. Anyone else dealing with a limited diet? I figure I'll just get whatever nutrients I can and hopefully the hormones will kick in to allow me to eat more! Would love to connect with other experiencing something similar . . . .
