Pregnant? New baby? You deserve a doula!

 

My name is Kristi Doss. I am a certified prenatal and postpartum doua. I absolutely love my job, because I am able to be an active participant in one of the most miraculous events in a woman's life. I believe that women are strong and capable, and that our society has unfortunately created a stigma that pregnancy and birth is a disease to be cured, not a journey to be taken.

 

As a doula, I believe it is my role to provide support and information to expectant mothers and their families about the miracle of birth. I use a variety of techniques, including both physical and verbal, to help ease the mother's tension during delivery. I also help transition women into the role of motherhood by offering education in infant care and enrichment.

 

In short, I mother the mother.
