Loosing weight?!?!?

Hi all! I'm 5 weeks today and doing pretty good.  I had one night and one morning of nausea and other than that feel pretty good in that department.  With my last pregnancy I was so hungry - I started gaining weight right away.  By 8 weeks I gained 8 lbs.  That seems like a lot, but since I'm pretty thin I figured my body did what it needed to do.  I gained 29lbs the entire pregnancy.  I also started getting morning sickness around 5 weeks which I curbed with food :) I ate lots and lots.

 

This time, I'm starting out about 3lbs thinner and am loosing weight!! My DH commented that I'm looking super skinny :( I'm eating and making good, high protein choices with a lot of fruit and veggies.  I've been drinking at least one peanut butter and banana smoothie everyday (which I figure is at least 400 cals, maybe more).  The thing is that I'm just not hungry.  I'm still eating what I normally would.  I'm not really in the mood for carbs so maybe that has something to do with it.

 

I can not believe how different this pregnancy is in almost every way.  I did take another $tree test this morning and it was super dark!! Way darker than the control line and showed up instantly.  At least I know my hcg is increasing.


Should I be overly concerned?  I'm going to increase my calories and fat intake and hopefully that will make a difference.  Did anyone else ever experience this in pregnancy? Is it normal??
