I was wondering if we can start a Belgium-group, because there are many mothers (and fathers) in Belgium who are into natural and loving ways of parenting. It would be lovely to connect.

Anyone interested in homebirth/homeschooling/meeting up/living your dream/... in Belgium?

We are possibly moving to Belgium. Do you happen to know what vaccines are required if any?

I have 2 kids one that is completely unvaxed and one that hasn't had any since 6 months.

Hi Kelbud,

welcome to Belgium!

The only vaccine that is obliged here is polio, and if you can prove with a doctor's note that you child is allergic to the substances used in vaccines, it is legal to be unvaccinated, because this is considered as a valid reason to avoid all vaccines.

Where in Belgium will you be staying?

Thank you. She's not allergic, but had some issues when she was younger and my younger daughter (who is 2) has had no vaccines. I wouldn't be against getting them 1. I just didn't want them to have to have 50 to catch up or anything.

I guess we'd be in Brussels. My husband has a job opportunity with the NATO thing (non-military though). We will be finding out next week if/when we will be going.

Well we should be there some time in mid-July. Not sure how I'm going to have everything ready by then, but I'm sure going to do my best.
