an AWESOME profile shot, I love that you can see the nose and everything!
"Alien" shot, face, straight on (sideways, of course!) I have a shot like this of all four of mine now... and the jaw shape is the same as big brother and sisters!
Itty bitty toesies!!!!!!! I have a side shot of my oldest's foot but never had a straight on like this... its so cool... and we can already see baby has 5 perfect little toes!
Macho baby! The ultrasound tech and I were both geeking out over how cool it is that you can see the shape of the arm so well!
So info on the ultrasound... there is only ONE baby in there. Thankfully! LOL.
We had no clue for sure how far along I am, because I was breastfeeding when i got pregnant and this was a surprise... not like we were preventing, but still a surprise... I measured exactly right for dates, should be 18w5d, due July 11th... and that's the exact info the ultrasound came up with, so I am VERY comfortable going with those dates for our homebirth.
The placenta is posterior (YAY!) which I was so hopeful for, it was anterior last time and I couldn't feel stuff as well as I could with my first two... since this is my last I was really hoping for posterior. I kind of thought it was because I can already palpitate Ro pretty well in there, can't figure out body parts but can tell what direction Ro is laying at least (up and down vs. transverse) and saw a very clear separation between the end of the placenta and the cervix, which was exciting because we dealt with previa last pregnancy and again... with a homebirth that's a fear for me! But nope... it looks like we are good to go!
