9 yo DS curious about female body

So my 9 yo DS recently had an exploration situation with the neighbor girl a month ago. Curiosity and opportunity came along and there you go. I have also not been extremely modest about changing or showering around my kids and they are always in the bathroom talking to me when i have business to take care. Lately I have noticed that he seems to be looking at me a little more curiously. I asked him this morning if he is curious about the female body and he shrugged and said "i don't know".  How can we help him with this curious stage without him getting overly curious with any other girls?

Books. Does he have a good collection of books about sex and puberty, discussing both male and female bodies and experiences? And, if he does, are they at his age level rather than just the same stuff he read when he was 6?

And I think it's important to not just have one, but several. Lots, even. I'm sure you can get recommendations if you ask.

Museum.. naked marble statues and classical nude paintings. Took only one trip with my young son. He looked, asked me a couple of whispered questions and we never had anymore"peeping Tom" issues.

I don't see anything wrong with you or your partner/his father explaining how a girl's body works.  I think this age is very natural to be interested.  My kids saw a lot of pregnancy and birth books at ages 10 and 11, when I was expecting.  They would look at A Child is Born which was clinical in a good way to me.

It's Perfectly Normal would be a good book for him right now.
