We're going to use Blueberry Basix and Swaddlebees Simplex 2.0 if I can find enough size newborn/small to build a good stash. Not having much luck with these sizes in the prints I want.

I am hoping someone has the dirt on Flip diaper covers? They are affordable. We are traveling to the beach about a month after our LO is born. I don't want to use disposables (which is what we have done in the past).    

I read Flip disposables are compostable. Do they fit new babies okay? Two travel packs are about $60. Anyone out there using these?

I just came across dappi diaper covers this morning.

So of course, they are very inexpensive. I read they run small and the velcro will likely need to be sewn better. Any mama's have anything more to chime in with on these. My sister picked me up some kawaii minky's (there is no way they will fit one of my new babes). So I need tiny covers to start off with. I am also thinking about using the bambo inserts with the wraps. Yea or nay?

I had a couple of Dappi covers for DS when he was little and I really liked them.  They do run a bit small, but I never had any issues with the aplix needing to be resewed.  I think the bamboo inserts will fit fine inside them, I used cotton prefolds in ours and those are pretty bulky.  I don't think size would be a huge issue unless you were trying them out for the first time on an older baby. A newborn should fit fine into the smallest size.
