She's due 4 days before I am!  I didn't even know they were trying yet.  It will be her first, my second.  Anyone else have any  pregos close to them?

Close is a relative term... My BFF is 7 weeks ahead of me!  She wasn't really trying yet, as DD is currently 20 months, But I'm excited to have someone to share all the weird little quirks with.  She's never has MS and I want to ALL the time!!!  so that is something new she gets to share through me!!

I'm a couple of months behind 2 close friends, and just found out a relative is 8 weeks (I'm 5 weeks) So we're all in various stages with older kids all around the same age too, it's fun!

I was hoping to hear my brother and his wife would have some news for us, but so far nothin' (I don't actually know if they're trying - ha ha!)

I told my friend this past Sunday that I was and after some thought she went home and took a test that same day and guess what... We're about a week apart:)

Thank goodness no.. Last time I was pregnant around the same time as my SIL (I was around 3 weeks ahead of her) and got to hear the whole time about everything I was doing wrong and how i was "stealing her spotlight".. Especially since we both had boys and I dared to give birth before her (she was actually praying she would have a premie so she could have the first grandson, made me sick to my stomach to even think about.. she has NO clue what its like to have a baby in the NICU).

My last pregnancy, with DD2, both of my SIL's were due right around me, as well as my step-brother's girl-friend and a close colleague. In the end, my step brother's GF had their baby on 9/3, my one SIL on 9/4 and my DD on 9/5!! It was wild! It's fun now to get everyone together, at my in-laws we've got these three cuties all around 18 months (my other SIL had hers on 11/6).

This time, the one SIL is due 7/29, so we're almost exactly 8 weeks apart. She was hard to share the last pregnancy with. We couldn't BE more different if we tried. She is an ER nurse, VERY medical, seeing an OB, mad her OB wouldn't agree to section her because baby was measuring big, mad she couldn't be induced before 39 weeks, mad they were going to make her labor at all... Told me I was putting the baby's health at risk by seeing a midwife and delivering out of the hospital... And I she felt we were stealing her thunder. Her DD was their first, she wasn't as "special" because we were ALL pregnant. We were ALL pregnant on vacation and at her shower... You get the picture...

Yikes!  Thankfully I think my sister and I (and our family) are all sane enough to not make drama.  My biggest worry is that one of us miscarries and has to spend all the months afterwards watching the other happily gestate and give birth.  That would be really sad.  Both of my SIL's were pregnant when I was last time, they were both 2 months ahead of me.  It was a lot of fun, and the three little cousins sure are cute together now.
