Do you think these would be good for EC "stash"?

I see a zulily sale on bumkins "diaper boosters" (cotton inserts, I guess). I was thinking these might be good with wool longies- kind of a "one pee" option, easy to change and wash? The dimensions are 4.5'' W x 7'' H x 2.5'' D. So, do you think that is too small?

FWIW my baby is currently 3.5 months and tall, somewhat chubby. We are using all borrowed diapers and really need more (especially as, unfortunately, there seem to be a LOT more misses happening lately). You'd think with my third kid and second doing EC from infancy I'd know what I like, but I feel like I keep learning...

I just folded one of my flats to 7x4.5 and tucked it into my DS' longies.  I don't think his longies are tight enough to hold it in place if I center it like a tiny diaper. I think pee might run down his rump if I just tuck it in the front. 

I think it would tuck into undies pretty nicely and still be very easy to wash.

hmm, right now all I have are 12 flats (they aren't even hemmed!) and 12 itty bitty baby prefolds. These are all loaners. I have a couple of random DSQ prefolds but they seem so HUGE now that I EC, and really only have one pee to change. I am planning to buy 2 dozen more flats- since it turns out I love them! But I thought maybe some other doubler/mini-diaper options would be good.

well blah my (supposedly) ECed baby has just peed her third diaper of the morning- and is crying about it, so gotta go!

We love flats, too. Mine are just torn apart flannel sheets. Not hemmed, either.

We are loving a pad folded flat in an elastic belt and we are getting into training pants.

My 3 month old, third ECd child has had 3 wet diapers already this morning, too. He pees about a tablespoon per diaper until I catch the rest in the toilet. Don't feel bad about it!
