Shell! So great about those plump little follies! Sunday! Sunday!! Love the onsie!

Y'all take those twins... I'll take mine singly, thankyouverymuch! I wish twins twins twins on you brave, strong women! (go GTree, go!) I, for one, am a wimp! (I mean, I'll take what I can get, you guys know, not like I'm in control or anything). There was a mama of twins here on MDC who had the best tag line ever in her signature - something like, "I don't always get pregnant, but when I do, I prefer dos bebes!" (you know, like the dos equis ad. I died laughing at that one and think about it when twins comes up).
--Ok, so I just googled it in case it was a "thing" and maybe everyone knew it and wouldn't find it funny. No dice, but I found another I have to share (cuz I just cried with laughter) "I don't always drink milk, but when I do, I prefer dos titties."
Ok good night- see, you all can see what happens to my brain after sleep deprivation for five nights, and you see why no twins for me wink1.gif I'd be the laughing stock of the neighborhood! Let's hope we get a real nights' sleep, yeah?!

shell!! 7 follies!!! that's wonderful!! maybe they will find magic number 8 when the get in there and start digging around! the countdown to egg retrieval begins!!

skj - dude date! ha! i do think you are right about something having to get settled for most of us to get our babies... hoping this is what settles me. at the very least, it should make the whole ivf process less do or die knowing that it isn't necessarily the end of the road for us.

jpack - you are so funny! believe me, i did not have this attitude about twins until ttc my first had hit the two year mark. prior to that i was pretty much anti-twins. i watched a friend go through a horrible twin pregnancy and then helped out with their very exhausting first year of life. i declared that i would NEVER have twins! EVER! but now... the thought of knowing for sure that my children had a sibling and then never having to go through this ttc nonsense again and being able to move into the next phase of life of being completely focused on parenting children rather than trying to create them? ahhh. it has become my new go-to fantasy. :)

happy saturday, ladies!

Shelly. I'm telling you what you told me. Everything is gonna work out great. Deep breaths. Can't wait to hear about the 8 little eggies they get from you tomorrow! I was sooooooooo nervous/anxious yesterday so I completely understand. I have such a great feeling about twins in your future! Visualize a relaxed retrieval tomorrow smile.gif love the onsie. I hope they have another one!

Indie - i think the pressure being a lilttle less financially is awesome and totally sways in favor of a bfp for you. Just watch you get a free baby now that money won't be so tight!

Jpack- hilarious! I wanted twins as a consolation prize for this IF bs. Then I thought about what that would mean and I realized tht I'm with you. We cannot have twins. We'd never see the family in South America. I hope your stocking stuffing worked this cycle!!

Sila- I hope you are busy getting busy and catch that eggie!

Delivish-thanks!

We're here for you Shell, no matter what! And its gonna be great!!! You're no doubt in great hands and this is what they do day in and day out. Everything is gonna be great. Just think, if we all send you a onsie, you might have enough for each little egg!

Just picture that, eight little teensy eggies in eight teensy little onsies! smile.gif (I mean I know they don't wear onsies, but it's where my mind took it) anyway, hope you got a chuckle and hope you keep those negative thoughts back in the back of your mind and all the happy, goofy ones in the front!!

Shelly - Thinking about you!  I hope you can get some rest tonight and that you have a VERY successful retrieval tomorrow!  Send positive vibes to those perfect eggs! So exciting!!

Hi to everyone else!

Shelly- they are professionals, you are going to do great! I cant wait to hear how it goes. Youre so lucky to get in so early since you cant have anything to eat or drink before!! (Just found that out today... Uhhhh)

Jpack- i never wanted twins either but it seems only fair since i'd have a 2 1/2 yr old if it had happened my first month off bcps... How are you feeling?? Hope ou get a good nights sleep soon!

Skj- If I were on my laptop I'd send more dancers to you. I'm just so happy for you... Bratty little boy! Glad he started to behave himself! Your positive thinking & levelheadedness was the answer. I need to downlad c+b for IVF & start listening...

Shell, I'm thinking of you, too! Can't wait to hear how it went!

Hi everyone... I am at home now. So they only have 3 mature eggs :-(  I guess that is good ... everyone seems so positive ... everyone but me that is!!  So I will know tomorrow how many fertilized... Wednesday is the transfer ... then my test is on Christmas eve!!!  I don't know why I feel so down... maybe its the drugs... I am off to sleep.

Shelly- I'm sure your baby is among those 3. I just know it. I know you wanted more, but I just feel so positive that you will get a Christmas bfp!!

shelly - all i know is it seems like estrogen priming protocol produces less eggs but super high quality eggs. so i have NO DOUBT that your baby(ies) are in those three eggs! you just need good eggs, not lots of eggs! three is GREAT news! and we will take care of being excited and positive for you... you just go get your rest!

Shelly - I'm sorry it wasn't as many as you wanted. It only takes one so 3 is great! If all 3 fertilize are you transferring all of them?

Shell - Yay for 3!! Get some rest and keep us posted.  One of my friends only got 1 egg and now she's pregnant! Keep us posted.

Shell- 3 mature, healthy, strong eggs is wonderful. Your babies are growing as we speak. Can't wait to hear more tomorrow.
