I had that really bad the first time, and I found that a pregnancy support belt (the kind with both under the belly band and back support band) really helped. I also found that some of the stretches on the spinningbabies.com site helped to alleviate some of the round ligament pain. Good luck, feel better!

Today an investor is coming to look at the house. This has us sooo worried because we don't want to sell the house, but due to estate and my Dad dying without a will - until all of his bills are paid off we have to have the house on the market. We still have 20k left to pay. :( First time someone is coming to look at the house.

I will not even begin to tell you guys how sad/crazy/BAD timing that would be if this guy likes this house.

Wait a minute... aren't you in the US?  How are your dad's bills your problem?  Is the house in his name?  Ok, I'm being nosy, and you don't actually have to answer me, but unless your name is on the debt, you are not required to pay it off.  And unless the house is in your dad's name (solely), you aren't required to sell it (obviously so long as you're paying the mortgage).  If you haven't consulted an estate attorney, I really recommend it.  Debt holders will tell you all sorts of crap to try to get money out of you, but you are not responsible for the debts of the deceased, will or no.  Has his estate passed through probate?  All the debt stuff should have been taken care of then by the court.  HTH

Thank you for the well wishes on the migraine.  Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to lay down during morning therapy, and DS wasn't the slightest bit calm, either.  I have a friend who is pp who I promised food to this weekend, so I spent the time in the kitchen cooking for her.  So long as I keep moving I can distract myself.

And unfortunately #2, the pm therapist found a sub (she's been out all week), so I don't get the afternoon to sleep, either.  So I should be doing that right now.

I'm eating some lunch and slacking. ;)

Sorry you can't do that right now, but what a thoughtful thing to do for a friend who is pp.

We are in the US - and its myself and my brothers. The house is paid off - and we do have an attorney. The house is in the "Estate of My Dads name". Until the debt is paid off, the heirs can not collect it since he died suddenly with no will.

We are in probate :(

We have went through the court and everything, our attorney just said that the county we live in has very screwy rules so nothing we can do but pay off the debt to get the house. Its 15k plus attorney fees are 5k now.

I never felt so much like we were in slavery until this all happened. It was my Dad's house, his pride and joy - its paid off...but we can't 'have' it until his medical bills are paid off. $500 of the bills are CHILD SUPPORT for us three kids that was paid off years ago...but dont try and get something straightened out through Support and Enforcement.

Ack..

PS) My brothers are just fine with me taking the house (obviously) and just 'buying them out' later on. None of us are fighting or anything.

PPS) Dh and I have a meeting on Monday to talk about getting a loan to pay off the debt and get it in my bros and I's name and wrap up the estate.

Tomorrow is a big day for my family. I have a lot to do to get ready but I didn't sleep well last night and can't seem to get moving today. My plan is to go to bed early tonight not matter what is still left to do. I may take some Unisom. I have got to be on tomorrow and have no clue what kind of pregnancy day I'll have.

Sarah, I have a mattress topper on my bed – the memory foam kind – and I think it is certainly worth the money!! That plus the fluffy pillow between my legs makes such a huge difference!

sandy, I am exhausted too! I guess I had forgotten how much the 3rd trimester can wear you out! It is 6:30pm here and I’d be happy to go to bed right now.

Onemore, that situation with your house just sucks. I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with all that right now! What rotten timing! irked.gif

I can’t stop thinking about Jynx! I keep checking to see if she has updated.

Ugh, I was freaking exhausted too and got an additional iron supplement and take it first thing in the AM with orange juice on an empty stomach... it has made a HUGE difference!  I actually have energy to do stuff now, although it is awkward moving around and picking stuff up and having to pee all. the. time.

I've been so busy lately, and it is freaking me out because... well, life doesn't slow down in our house even after baby is born!  I wish I could take like 6 weeks off from everything... but that isn't going to happen.

Onemore, the house situation sounds stressful!

Masel, good luck with the big day!

Casmer, feel better!

Okay, I have so much reading to catch up with on this board!

Onemore- super stressful! That is the last thing anyone wants to deal with when a relative dies, so sorry :(

Tired- oh yeah. Count me in. I was doing great until about 28 weeks and then hit a wall of exhaustion. I've been going to bed earlier, cutting back on my caffeine, and really taking it easy house-work and life wise (as much as possible, anyway). I'm doing a bit better. Also trying REALLY really hard to take my iron, but i bought a liquid caramel-flavoured supplement and it makes me want to puke. I take it with my 1000mg of vitamin C to boost absorption.

Hit a wall with preparations.... Waiting to get electricity in my house finished, waiting until I can get to the store to buy paint so my brother can do the home-repairs I want done before he moves back to my parents, waiting now to buy a dresser before I find/wash baby clothes (JUST occurred to me last night that we don't have anywhere to put clothes for another person!)

Tentatively booked in another doula client due March 17th. I'm excited, and she seems thrilled that I A. don't really know what I'm doing (??) B. will be pregnant, so mostly will end up telling her husband what to do and C. am doing it for free to finish my certification. She sounded fairly sure she wanted me to come, but is going to take a couple of days to think it over. Either way, I'm encapsulating her placenta for her so I'm getting a few dollas coming in that I can use towards... erm, something...
