Hello!

I am looking for some waxing ideas for in-home wax. I only want cartridge wax because I tried one from a jar and it was a nightmare. The cartridge/roll on one is less messy but I wonder if it can be microwaved. All I've seen is wax warmer for the cartridges and that's extra expense.

I look for no-mess and easy-application wax that could be microwavable because I don't want to buy the wax warmer.

I use Zip wax. It comes in a little tray, and I crack off the amount I need and microwave it in a glass dish (like those small Anchor storage dishes) for 1 minute, 47 seconds.  It works really well for me and is not a mess. The glass gets hot so a pot holder is a must. You can get it at Drugstore.com (elsewhere I imagine but that's where I get it.)

I just ordered wax cartridges and a roll-on head from amazon plus some strips. We'll see how it will work. If they aren't microwavable, I'll probably steam them:)
