Phoenix area DOULAS!

Hello! I am a doula in NYC and we are planning a move to the Phoenix area in the next 6-12 months. What do doulas charge in your area? Here the cost is on average $1200. I would love to know if I can make a go of it in Phoenix...thanks!!

As you can tell from my screen name, I came from LI, NY. Fees here are only about half. I think most doulas charge about 500-700. Your expenses will be a little lower since I don't find doulas here go in the car with the client, so they don't need taxis. In NY most of my clients had me ride with them. If you need info on doula groups when you get here let me know.

I charge $400 for services, but that is definitely on the lower end of the scale. Like the above poster said, the average is around $600.
