What's your favorite fabric for fitted dipes?

Do you go for cute cotton prints or sherpa or hemp?

What have you been most happy with?

AND, where do you buy? I'm kind of shocked at the prices of some fabric I've seen...

My favorite fabric right now for dipes is knit cotton, sherpa, flannel. I buy from all over, I have a few of my "favorites" and I just see where I can get the best deal for all the items I want. The diapershop.com price matches so I usually end up there, but diaperfabric.com isnt too bad ether. Ive bought from other non-diapering sites before but usually Im not very impressed with the quality.

Oh for my cotton prints I usually just go to walmart, they usually have some nice cotton on clearance that works nicely for diapers.

My favorite fabric is whatever I think is cute :LOL
I really like knits over hemp knit fabrics b/c they're stretchy, but nothing can beat a beautiful woven outer. *sigh* I sooo need another little bum to diaper shop for :LOL

Depends on my mood. LOL I really like sherpa and velour. But love the trim absorbancy of hemp fleece/french terry. Cute knit outers are fun until they get really faded. Woven outers are really cute and seem to look better longer, but then your diaper doesn't stretch. See... I am wishy washy about things, so I just buy it all. I just got my first batch of interlock and think I'm really going to like it. IT's thicker than jersey knits and doesn't roll at the edges. I usually buy from coops b/c you've gotta love those prices.

I definitely prefer stretchy fabrics. I love to do sherpa with a cute cotton print outer.

I'm too cheap to spend money on the knits and cottons - I just stick with the absorbant materials like hemp and sherpa. I try to use colored snaps and wooly nylon, but that's as fancy as I get. I keep thinking I should get some solid colored knit so it would be easier to see when Ben is wet, but then I add up what it would cost me and I decide not to. If I found a print I was really crazy about, I might use it, but so far I haven't found any.
