Adoption hearing is set...

...for Wednesday morning! We have our little one in our home for almost 1 year now, and we meet our lawyer, the birth parents (friends of ours) at the court house mid morning, fore what is hopefully finalization!
Baby just turned 1 on Monday as well.

All went well. We do private open adoptions pretty simply up here. Bio parents signed away rights at the hearing, we gave our info, and the judge said he will give final signature in ten days!
Very anti-climatic!

Getting that birth certificate with your names on it is one of the best feelings!
