I am having an issue drinking water. So weird. For years, that's just about all we have in our house to drink and now I can't seem to make myself drink it. Any suggestions for how to stay hydrated without sugar, caffeine, artificial sweeteners, etc? Thanks, Ladies.
Cutting all those out, you're pretty much left with water. My husband knows from experience because he doesn't drink caffeine (hyper sensitive to it) or carbonation (acid reflux) and generally his choices are juice, lemonade and water with Mio but those all generally contain sugars or sugar subs. :/ If you don't mind a little sugar, you might try the simply juices. Or V-8 but I bet that has a ton of sodium and probably some sugar, too. Oh but you might try drinking the water in a new way. For some reason, I want all my water through a straw! I can't explain it, I don't even drink through straws at restaurants but that's how I want to drink my water, even at home.
I'm having the same problem. Which is so strange because I normally drink about 64 OZ of water a day, and now just the thought of water has me estimating how close the bathroom is!!
I've tried putting frozen fruit in my water bottle, but since I'm FREEZING ALL THE TIME!!!!! I don't really want cold things. Even if the water is warmish I still can't drink it (I know it's all in my head) I'm going to start mixing a small amount of juice in with my water (like 1:8) just to give it a different taste. I don't want to drink juice all the time but the way I see it, It is better to be hydrated and have a little sugar than dehydrated. I haven't been drinking hardly anything, so somehow I need to get something in me!
i'm having a hard time, too. Actually very icey water helps me but I also dilute very cold pressed apple juice and have cordial (I'm from the UK and live in the US but get the cordial from an English store). It does have sugar but not too much and I don;t mind when I'm also struggling to eat much of anything.
