Anyone hot yet??

Thread Starter

I'm only 5 weeks and I feel like my internal thermostat is on the fritz.  I'm either super cold or super hot.  I got this with my last pregnancy but I don't remember it happening so early on.  I also have a cold and wonder if that's part of the problem.

Hot and cold here too.  It's freezing outside, so I bundle up to walk to school, and then by the time I get there I'm roasting!  Or I'm freezing when I go to bed and wake up under all the covers sweating.  Can't win.

I feel exactly the same and I'm also 5 weeks. I'm no longer wearing thick jumpers because I'm just too warm all the time! I also randomly feel cold, so turn up the heating a bit, and end up sweating. But mostly I'm very warm, which is a nice change from how I usually am.

Wow...I thought I was just having weird hot/cold flashes...but they seem somewhat common!!

THe hot flash at like 5am is the one that I hate, I can't fully get back to sleep after - I'm like an oven!

I've been hot since before my BFP.  I get hot feet and legs during the night.  I had this with my ds3's pregnancy too.

Yes, ditto on the super hot and super cold.

Just reading through replies, and night sweats are the worst! It's probably my least favor postpartum symptom.

Yep, me too. No night sweats (yet, anyway), but I definitely spend a lot of time tearing off layers of clothes and putting them back on.

I was horribly sweaty the first couple nights postpartum!  It probably didn't help that it was late July, and all we had to cool the house was a pretty ineffective swamp cooler, which we hadn't been running all day during the birth, so I wouldn't be cold in the birth pool.  I don't think me or the babe got fully dressed for days after the birth!
