What to expect at our 6 month well baby check? « Back to Group Discussions

So, coming up here at the beginning of March, Cassidy will be going in for her six month appt.  We aren't vaxing, so Im wondering if it will be much of the same, height, weight, etc.  all the basic checks... Should I expect anything else? just want to be prepared for what I may or may not want to do.  

At this point, she is so healthy, and obviously weighs enough! that I wonder why I am even taking her into a doctor's office at all?? Anyone have thoughts on the pros and cons of this?

Well I'm behind you as Luke just turned five mos today...so I don't know what is standard at the six month checks. I have skipped several well checks in the past with my children (including Luke's 4 mo check) as they were doing really well and I have always done delayed vacc. You are the best judge of your baby's well being so in my opinion, I don't see any reason to bring her in if you have no issues or questions.
