Creative idea for kid's clothes hamper

Not sure if this belongs here or not.

I need a clothes hamper for my DS. I don't want to get just an ugly ol' plastic bin. The Company Store had some cute ones shaped like animals, but they are $20 something.

Any ideas???

(link to company store, but they don't really have to look like this, just want something creative.)

I sooo need that frog one! I am a frog freak...anyways. How old is your DS and what is he into? Or how is his room done up?

Well, I was thinking of this for my 2 year old DS who likes . . . hmmmm . . .let's see . . .. monkeys, elephants, happy faces. Also, my 5 year old DS would want one, too, if it comes out really cool. He likes planets and numbers.

Aren't the C.S. hampers cute? I love the blue hippo one.

I was kinda thinking about this last nite. Do you think it would be possible to use a plant stand or similar for the frame? I know I always see a bunch of the really big tube like ones at yardsales in the summer. Then it would just be a matter of finding a cool print fabric you like or making a very simple head for whatever animal. OH! ya know, you could even use a garbage can. One of the smaller ones, not like a 30 gallon one. But, you could use the lid to make a head, for a monkey, etc. Hmm...I'll keep thinking! :LOL
