Metalic taste in mouth « Back to Group Discussions

I didn't have this while pregnant with DD. It's horrible!! It makes all of my favourite foods taste all wrong!! There are very few things i can tolerate eating. Anyone else experiencing this? Also, in the past, did you end up having a boy or a girl when you've had the metalic pregnancy symptom?

Metal mouth was my first symptom with my daughter. I've had it off and on this pregnancy too although not as early or as often.

I had it with my first pregnancy.  She's all girl!

I had it with my first pregnancy and she's a girl.  Though I didn't have it with my second and she is a girl too :).

I didnt have the metal mouth with the first pregnancy, but I did have a bad taste in my mouth that forced me to brush my teeth about 6 times a day just to stop from making me nausous.  I had a boy the first time.  This time, I seem to be having a little of that metal taste in my mouth, but it isnt all the time.  I guess we will see if that means girl for us!

Looks like I'm the oddball. I had it with my last two pregnancies, both were boys.

I have it this time too. It's gross.
