I don't know what these signs mean...

So two nights ago I had pink cm, a decent amount it was there all night (I checked 3 times over 4 hours)

Next day soft cervix and one glob of yellow cm (not sticky or lotiony,,,kinda reminded me of mucus plug)

Today really really soft cervix (this morning and evening) no fertile mucus...really no mucus to speak of.

So anyway I have no idea when my period will show and I haven't noticed any EWCM at all.

What could be up? I mean is this just normal annovulatory craziness? We've been using condoms so I don't suppose pregnancy and I had tested on the 18th of this month and it was negative...

I've just never had pink cm before, and having had this soft cervix except when pregnant...DS2 was conceived before my PPaf from DS1 so I haven't had a 'real' cycle since December of '08

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I want to start temping again...I just don't know with co sleeping how accurate it would be.

Hard to tell, but very possibly AF is coming and starting with light spotting that may be a little inconsistent.  Or you are having ovulation spotting.  Since it's been a few years for you, it's hard to know exactly what to expect when your body starts cycling again.  It sounds like a sign that you will soon have your AF back. 

Since you've been using condoms, I'd say being PG is unlikely but of course not impossible. 

I thought I had IB last month.  I never ever spot, and had a tiny single spot 10dpo.  Totally new to me.  But AF started anyway on 13dpo.  So I can't say what it was a sign of.  My cervix was soft too for the several days before right up until AF started fully, so I either barely implanted and lost it or my cervix was being quirky and it was a sign of... nothing at all.
