Please help with progesterone levels / early pregnancy / scared :(

Progesterone:

12dpo - 2/17 - 3w3d = 43.9

15dpo - 2/20 - 3w6d = 33.2

17dpo - 2/22 - 4w1d = 17.0

19dpo - 2/24 - 4w3d = 27.0

hCG:

12dpo - 2/17 - 3w3d = 180

15dpo - 2/20 - 3w6d = 738

17dpo - 2/22 - 4w1d = 1589

19dpo - 2/24 - 4w3d = 4548

I calculated hcg doubling to be:

35.37

43.38

31.64

I'm taking compounded progesterone suppositories 100mg, 2x/day - since 2/16.

I'm really scared re that my fluctuating progesterone is a bad sign for my baby.  I did fast on the first collection (12dpo) but not on the others. 

In my Dec loss pregnancy, my progesterone dropped at 4w1d to 9.5 and my hcg stopped doubling properly at that time.  I was not using any progesterone supplement then.

Am I about to lose my baby, since my progesterone has dropped, even tho my hcg is good?

No advice, Julie, but some ((hugs)) and positive thoughts for that corpus luteum to start pumping out some progesterone ASAP.

We were in the July 2012 DDC together and I remember you from the TTCAL thread last month, too. I'm thinking sticky thoughts for you, hon.

Progesterone naturally fluctutates, varies throughout day and varies based on food intake etc, if you were to test multiple times a day you would get different results each time...your levels are well within normal range. I would not read anything bad into your results and your hcg looks great!

ITA!  I've heard that anything above 11 is fine and you're well above that.  Yes it went down, but it also went back up.  Your hCG is doubling nicely.  I don't see anything wrong with your numbers.  Unless you're bleeding and cramping, it would be my advice to try your best to relax and enjoy being pregnant (well, as much as this is possible with morning sickness!).

Thanks Jaimee, Halifax, and Rae :)  I really appreciate the reassurance.  I've been pondering my situation in the last few hours, and I think that my hcg says that my baby is healthy.  I only fasted for the first bloodwork (my highest #), and I'm going to fast from now on.  I read that not-fasting can reduce the level as much as 50% (!).  My loss pregnancy hcg was nothing near as great as what I have now, so I'm trying to go with feeling positive from that :)

Also, I'm not bleeding or cramping - and I feel reallly pregnant too, even with a little baby belly already :)

Rae - Yes, I did have a July baby :(  and I was in the TTCAL group too.  Thanks for the sticky thoughts :)  So hard to have all the post-loss worries...  Wishing you baby dust :)
