Birthing at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth??? VBAC

I am wondering if anyone out there has any experience birthing with South Shore Midwives at Jordan now that Jordan has allowed VBACs again.  I know nothing about Jordan Hospital, what "The Birthplace" is like, or how things have been going since SSM started doing births there.  I do know the midwives and have met each of them, but I would love to hear some more recent feedback.  I would love to get a better sense of what birthing at Jordan would be like...thanks!

I'm not sure how many vbac's they have had so far, but know that things have been going well.  I think a few of the people on the South Shore AP list have birthed at Jordan hospital or with the midwives when they were at South Shore- so they can give some feedback on how these places worked before.

I do think that the group of doctors and midwives is open minded and working really well together to make changes to support empowered birth- that's the impression I've got from talking to the midwives and the ob-- so I expect to hear good things as time goes on-- but I do know that there are some restrictions they were forced to adhere to in order to get the admin to support VBACs'    

I toured the birthplace and it is cozier than South Shore Hospital and even a little more cozy than Tobey.  I didn't have this midwifery group as an option, so I went with Tobey even though Jordan was much much closer to me- but that's unfortunately not an option for VBAC.  There are both good things and bad in past threads about the BirthPlace, but I do think that this has been a huge huge change and some of the changes ARE being made.
