Planning home birth in NE NC...help!

I am new to this communtiy and hoping someone can help me!!

I have looked just about everywhere Google has led me, lol! I am growing frustrated  in my search to find a Midwife in Northeast NC to attend my home birth. None of the Virginia Midwives will travel down here due to the laws and all others I have found are too far. Is there anyone who knows of any Midwives practicing in this area? Thank you for any information anyone can give me!!

Where are you located? I had a homebirth in Elizabeth City in May but my midwife was about 5 minutes late and he was born unassisted.

Oh wow! Glad it all turned out well for youthe despite her being late! I am actually in Moyock, just 15/20 minutes east ofif Elizabeth City. If tou could give me her contact info that would be awesome! I haven't had any luck finding anyone and its getting frustrating! Thank tou so very much for your reply and any info you can pass along!
