can someone explain to me the phases of eczematous skin?

Anyone know? i've google searched and didnt come up with much.

What does each phase look like and is it just starting, getting aggrivated or healing?

For instance, when the skin starts getting those tiny little flakes is it getting more aggrivated because its dry or is it healing because new and healthy skin is coming in underneath?

nak not sure but it seems when it's no longer weeping it gets drier
