use chiro for sleeplessness?

DD (almost 3 yo) is a TERRIBLE SLEEPER!!!! She takes anywhere from 30 min to 2 hours to fall asleep at night, she typically wakes up in the middle of the night and VERY RARELY spends the whole night in her own bed. She's worse than the 5 month old next to our bed!! Has anyone used a chiropractor to help with sleeplessness? We've also tried Calms Forte and Melatonin, which aren't really doing the trick. Could an adjustment do the trick??

so....we started taking our son to the chiro at about a year old for sleeping issues.  We were really good about going twice a month.

He turned 2 this past December and and was sleeping well,  Going to sleep nicely, sleeping until 5, waking briefly and going back to sleep until 7:30.

Then....somehow with craziness of birthdays, christmas, travel etc....we fell of the chiro wagon and stopped going.

Last night, after a couple of weeks of sleepless nights, including night terrors and early wakings....we decided to call our chiro again.

There were other things (food issues) that we worked out, but I really think the chiropractor helped our son sleep.  I am really bummed we have to wait until Monday for teh appointment  =(

DD1 is an awful sleeper.  At almost 4 yo she still wakes 2-3 times a night and has terrible trouble falling asleep.  I never thought of talking about it with my chiropractor.  Thanks for the idea.  And, I'd love to hear how things work out for you.

I also want to mention that what has made a real difference to us is dropping DD1's nap.  When she naps (even for 30 minutes only) it takes 2 hours to get her to bed.  When she doesn't nap we can read, sing and she falls asleep without much struggle.  It makes a HUGE difference.  Only problem is we now have to have her in bed around 6:30 or 7 pm!

The chiro helps my ds quite a bit with sleep issues.

Another thing to look into is food allergies/sensistivites.  Ds has a lot of food issues, and there are some that if he gets exposed to, he has an awful time falling asleep/staying asleep.
