Just wanted to give y'all a quick update on my custody situation...

My 14 y.o. came home and is staying with me, tho my ex will probably try to take him at some point (even tho DS told ex he doesn't want to go after he came home the other day). My 11 y.o. is still being prevented from having any contact with me, his brothers, friends, therapist, etc.

My attorneys are still working on it, it's just going slower than they were hoping, due to other circumstances. So we are still praying and keeping fingers crossed.

 I am so glad he's home safe. He should have a say in whether or not he goes to his Dad, shouldn't he? I mean, as a 14yo? I pray your attorney's make headway for your 11yo. and very quickly.

This was the one who had run away is it not? What good news! It obviously seems a no brained as to who he should be with since he ran away from his father! Here's to a quick resolution of the whole situation!

so glad he came home and I really hope the judge and lawyers can let him stay with you, at 14 he his say should trump things. I have been continually thinking of you and your boys.

I'm so glad he is home, and I hope he gets to decide to stay home with you.  It was several years ago now (and in CT), but as the oldest sibling, DP got to decide whether their whole sibset got to live with Mom or Dad.  Maybe the judge will take his preferences into account.  Keeping you in my thoughts.

That is wonderful!  I can't imagine the worry and stress of not knowing where the older one was.  Praying for a quick and good resolution for the younger sibling.
