So I'm working on planning my mother's blessing, and I kinda just want to go with a "tea" theme. My problem is coming up with suitable foods that are not reliant on grains. I know if *I* eat that much grain in one day I'm going to make myself sick.
Does anyone have any ideas of foods that I could put out at a tea that wouldn't stick out as being out of place, and not be heavy grain or fruit? And it needs to be finger food, since we're skipping the utensils.
The "traditional" foods would be finger sandwiches and baked goods, and I figured cut fruit would go nicely. What can I add to that?
