Hyperemesis...

Anyone else suffering?  I am not surprised that I have it again.  With my first I threw up daily for 6 straight months.  My second (conceived 10 mths later and another girl) I only puked a few times.  With my son I threw up from 5 weeks to 16.  My daughter that I lost I was horribly sick.  So, here we go again.  I didn't sleep at all last night.  I just kept throwing up and heaving.  It's going to be a long, long, long few months.  I remember clearly how bad it is, but it's harder than it was 6 years ago.

If I weren't taking zofran 4 times a day... I'd be right there with ya.

with both of my previous pregnancies I ended up at the ER a few times to get re hydrated before I got the Rx for zofran.

Have you tried an Rx for nausea?  I wouldn't have children if I couldn't get relief from nausea & vomiting.

I'm with you, though now on zofran. Even with meds I am still sick. I had hyperemesis with DS and even with a pregnancy I lost last year. I am miserable but the meds help keep food and drink down... at least sometimes. Are you averse to meds? I tried EVERYTHING when pregnant with DS, including acupuncture 3 times a week. Nothing touched it.

Feel better.

I had it with 2 out of my 3 successful pregnancies prior to this. I was throwing up 7-12 times daily for the first almost 20 weeks. I was completely miserable.. This one is more like my middle pregnancy. I'm "only" throwing up 1-2 times a day but I'm sick to my stomach all day and night. I hate waking up in the middle of the night moaning because 'Im so sick to my stomach.

This is how I'm feeling right now. I don't think I technically am bad enough to have hyperemesis, but if it gets any worse I'll need meds for sure.

I'm throwing up a couple of times a day, and dry heaving about hourly at times. Constant nausea,  the night is the worst, I'm up every hour or so and can't eat anything b/c that makes it worse, so I just toss and turn and drink water (which means I'm up to pee just as often)

I hope it ends quickly for all of us!

They have me on phenergran suppositories for now, if they stop working we'll have to go to something else.  At least these make me tired.  Unfortunately this baby does not agree with my vegetarian lifestyle and wants meat :/  I've given in and had turkey a couple times (honey roasted off the breast) because it is the only thing that sounds even remotely edible.  Sucks though, I really dislike meat!!
