Still breastfeeding my 3yo but only at bedtime and very occasionally if he needs it during the day. I think the evidence is pretty clear that miscarriage is not caused by breastfeeding and it's certainly the information I was given (which I already knew) when I had my miscarriage in Dec. A small side story - but when I was sent to emergency at the women's hospital because my midwife couldn't find a heartbeat, the first thing the triage midwife said to me is 'do not let anyone tell you that this is because you are breastfeeding.' It was so wonderful and I was very lucky to encounter such a great midwife straight up.
That said, by the time I had the miscarriage, I was experiencing all that super sensitive, creepiness that the above poster spoke of and I was physically ready to wean. DS had also started having much less milk, I guess because it tasted different and he didn't like it, so my supply had already dropped significantly (at 9 weeks). I am expecting the same thing to happen and eventually DS will wean at some point during the pregnancy. If I can survive the creepiness though, I will be fine if he doesn't wean. He will be almost 4 by the time this babe is born though so I feel like he's had a pretty great run!
