OT - Graduation gift for DH? « Back to Group Discussions

Totally off topic, but I wanted to ask for some advice!

My DH is graduating from law school in May. I want to get him something nice, but I have no idea what to get. Some "thing"? A weekend trip for the two of us?? What do you all think?

A trip is nice, they say making memories is more full filling than material items.  But material items are nice too ;)  A nice watch is always a nice grad gift.  Congrats to you DH, finishing law school, what an accomplishment. :)

My DH is finishing his post.grad. in May. It has been/is such a family effort, alot of sacrifices, etc. and him being "done" (at least with school) is a gift in itself! But I've been wondering the same thing as far as a gift. We are on a limited budget but I'm sure there is something meaningful.

What are you doing to celebrate? Anything after graduation?

We are inviting friends and family to graduation and meeting at a restaurant afterward to celebrate.

I'd love to know what you decide! Congrats to you both!
