Reconsiderdering Tubal

 So I was planning on getting my tubes tied the end of this month. I think I may have talked myself out of it last night. I feel like I was reading more negative stories and people regretting it than positive. My husband feels its not natural to tie ones tubes (he feels same about vasectomy), so I am going to stop taking my bc pills again and go back to my ladycomp I think...

I can certainly add to your list of "negative" stories.  I had mine tied almost 10 years ago after 5 children.  I've regretted it ever since.  I have begun having Post-Tubal Ligation Syndrome symptoms that are MISERABLE!!!   I'm looking into having it reversed, but it costs about $6000 which I don't have, so I'm just suffering through for now.  Plus, after the first few years, my hubby and I had a change of heart and would not be "against" having another baby.  But, once they're tied, it's very unlikely to have a successful reversal.  I've done   a lot of things that I regret in my life, but this is by far at the top of my list.  You have to make your own decision with your hubby, but if you have ANY doubts... don't do it.  You or your husband will probably regret it later.  There are several long-term birth control methods out there that aren't permanant and don't have all of the side effects that tubals have.  My daughter is using Mirena for 2 years now and loves it!  No side effects and very few light periods each year.  Good luck with whatever you decide!!
