i just told dd2 that i liked taking my temp every morning. that it was a special thermometer that mommy uses to check how her body is doing that day.

thanks, JMJ-

the cycle looks EXACTLY like my last one on the chart.  a lot of mucus around cycles.  and working on balancing hormones through the Marilyn Shannon book.  but it takes time!

decided to not panic and take the laid back route when no more mucus appeared and the next day my cervix was low and closed.  sometimes it takes my body a few days after my period ends for my cervix to firm up and close.  same last cycle.

again, thanks.

Crashing! I'm not TTA or TTC-ing but I do chart to see what my body is doing.

Anyway,

I have irregular cycles but I have 2 things that seem to happen regularly during each cycle. First, after a 4-6 day period my body faux-ovulates on day 8. It tries or practices ovulating but then doesn't. Second, I have a 16 day LP. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed having practice ovulation every month or frequently? Also, does it mean anything or is it just a quirk of my particular cycle?

TIA!!

Welcome, bailey.

I'm not sure what you mean by "faux ovulate". Do you have a chart online that we can see to try to figure out what's going on?

AFM- loooong cycle this month. My dad had to have a sextuple bypass on my day 12 (when I usually start my fertile time). As a result of the stress, I'm pushed back by almost two weeks. EWCM today (for the last few days) so hoping to peak today or tomorrow.

I emailed with my Billings instructor tonight about the length of my fertile time (looong this month, especially with the delay), especially with EWCM and her response was "your body just wants to get pregnant!". she's very cool and is a CNM who believes in natural birth. She's taking new patients so if my insurance covers her, I'm going to start seeing her soon.

hope everyone is well!
