Unassisted Childbirth in Houston?

Hello all,

Anybody have a UC in Houston? I have four kids and am expecting my fifth, God willing. I had my last three at home with a midwife in CA covered by insurance. But my DH was laid off and we moved back to Htown. I want a home birth but funds are extremely tight. I was playing with the idea of a UC because my labors are usually fast (1-3 hours) and I pretty much squat or stand. I've never used a tub (no time). Any thoughts? Any recommendations for very affordable midwives (like under $2500)? I have medicaid but abhor the idea of going to a hospital for labor!
