creepy youtube video about vaccines

Okay, I'm not sure if this is the best part of the forum to post this in.  It's not research or academic at all, but a friend of mine posted this on fb the other day... and I just thought it was really kind of creepy... people dancing and singing praise about shots and the CDC.... very weird... thoughts?

I thought it was funny.  Some of the imagery was over the top ( one of the "shots" looked quite phallic to me).  I can see some of the images scaring young children (the size of that needle - and the jabbing the patient part).  The pokes at Jenny McCarthy and Wakefield were fairly stereotypical blabbering.

I guess just the whole "you're not cool if you don't get shots" vibe infused with flashy lights, dancing, and exciting music... I dunno... seemed a little brain-washy-y to me

According to the info section of the video it was a parody of a song by Lil Jon, performed by pediatric residents at a major hospital. These are our nation's future pediatricians folks!

I agree.  The only creepy things was the Dr.s waving around all the dildo's...other than that I thought it was cute.  And I don't even vaccinate.

They can do whatever they feel like. It is just one more example of how the vax issue is continually over-simplified and propaganda-fied and fed to parents. This is probably just a silly video for these students to release some stress and have fun... but if you look at AAP and mainstream parenting magazines... the vax concerns/questions sections aren't really answered better than how this video presents it.

Maybe I am on the conservative side but I would have a hard time taking a doctor seriously when there is a youtube video of them up dancing to gangsta rap. Maybe that's just me though!

I was coming on to say the same thing. My 7yo just said 'What are they for? They look strange'.

I don't vax but found the video funny.. But I am very much a joker in general.. It's something I'd do just for the laughs.
