Going pretty well! I'm so excited about having my baby...I can hardly wait to hold her, nurse her, care for her. We've got just about everything we need for our baby already, courtesy of my mother throwing a baby shower and having over 20 people show up. :P Got the crib & changer/dresser set up, dresser filled with baby clothes/cloth diapers...the only thing missing is a rocking chair, and new blinds/paint for the nursery! Oh, and sewing-stuffs. I'm going to be sewing baby slings, nursing covers, cloth wipes, & burp cloths. Once I hit week 36 I'm going to start prepping & freezing food for when our daughter is born. Got the house clean to the point that it takes hardly any effort to keep it clean...and now suddenly have a LOT less to do during the day!
On the flip side, my energy levels have plummeted the past couple weeks! I've heard that happens in late pregnancy...it's a new experience. I'm glad I have the time/freedom to take a nap if I need one! I've also concluded that late spring head colds *really* stink during pregnancy...I'm stuffy enough to begin with!
Things that aren't truly an issue but that I like to whine about anyway: I need to go bra shopping. I'm a woman who HATES clothes shopping, but ESPECIALLY bra shopping. I've worn the same bras since before I became pregnant, but now they're so tight that they dig into my back and are causing a rash from rubbing. So, I've finally admitted defeat that yes, I do need to buy bigger bras, and that means bra shopping. *grump grump grump* I also typically sleep on my side, with my head pillowed on the opposite hand. My boobs are now big enough that that position doesn't work so well. If I do manage to get comfy like that, I wake up to dried milk all over my arm where it crosses my chest, as I've been leaking colostrum like no tomorrow (about 2 tsp per breast throughout the day - I measured one day when I was bored with nothing better to do :P). I think I need to wear nursing pads to bed now...and I haven't even had my baby yet!
Happier note: My belly is getting big enough to start getting in the way of some things. I tried to clip a broken toenail, and I couldn't reach my toes! I had to sit half-cross legged on the floor to reach it. DH thought this was very cute/funny, and did offer to get it for me...he's so sweet. I took care of it myself, but did mention to him that I may need his help shaving the legs in a month or so. :P Also finding it difficult to get up off of the floor without either a helping hand or something to pull up with. Again, DH is awesome and offers me a hand whenever he's nearby when I'm trying to get up off the floor. :) Pregnant bellies make moving around more difficult, I've surmised. This pleases me though; I'm glad my baby is growing healthy and strong in there. <3
