April 2WW Thread! (when will you test?) - Page 6

Alright, some of you are probably sick of reading my updates every minute but I need to do this to stay sane. So today I woke up feeling sort of queasy, like low blood sugar feeling. Had breakfast, still not feeling 100%. Is it something I ate? Is it all in my head? Am I just setting myself up for disappointment? The past couple of days I've had classic oncoming AF symptoms but now this has thrown me into a funk again.

dakipode, I don't really know, but i do see from your previous post that you said you wouldn't test until "next week", and it's next week now... just sayin'. ;)

I think I'm out. I tested this AM and it was negative again. AF hasn't shown up either. I suspect I did not actually ovulate and therefore am still waiting for that first PP ovulation and PPAF to show up. I'm okay with this, actually. During this time of waiting my husband and I have both concluded that we would really rather wait a few months to ttc again. Not that we wouldn't accept a surprise but I think we're better off not planning one just yet.

Hello ladies, I am just starting my 2ww (4dpo) and was hoping I could join you.

Travelmumma CONGRATULATIONS!   Dont forget to announce over on the ONE thread too. :)

Harmony, how are things looking now?  Hopefully still nice dark lines for you.

Nattery, I'm sorry AF showed up but yay for the timing :)

Steagenrae, nice to see you over here.  Are things still going well for you?  You are always great with the advice.

AFM  My temp was very weird this month, more gradual rise than usual, so FF keeps going back and forth on whether I am 4 or 6 dpo.  I am just going with 4 to try to postpone my urge to test.  My LP is usually only 9 days, so good news/bad news I don't usually have a very long 2ww.  Was just diagnosed with high blood sugar but I am going on week 3 of a low carb diet (translate low carb lifestyle change) and am already down 4 pounds in 2 weeks so I am really hoping this helps my chances.

Dakipode - vent away, that's why this board is here!

look on the bright side, if af does show up, it gives you more time to knit cute little baby things... (that's how I'm looking at it at least!)

I hope you get some sort of mental piece too... as much as I disliked af showing up, the mental break from wondering 'what if' isn't so bad either ;)

Your going to have a baby exactly when you're meant to... it would just be nice to know when... if only!

Thanks for checking on me. smile.gif Lines are getting darker, slowly (which is typical for Wondfos). I had a teeeeeny bit of pink spotting today which quickly turned to brown spotting, but I'm not going to worry about it (even though I never had any spotting at all with any of the other pregnancies).

Good Evening!...and morning for some!

Just checking in and seeing how everyone is doing, I have just entered the 2WW and realized that those of us just starting the 2WW would be expecting a 2013 due date, so I changed the theme, for the time being, to "Year of the Snake". I myself am a snake, so that would be very cool for me. I am about to move and the tests are at the bottom of a box, which I am regretting, but maybe it is for the best smile.gif, I won't be opening that box till we move, so I won't be testing until next week at 10+ DPO.

Good luck to everyone!

Remember Chinese New Year starts late Jan / early Feb so those pregnant now will sill have dragon babies... though snake babies would be just as great! (I am a snake enthusist, I have a 10 foot boa constrictor)

Definitely sick, don't know about pregnant. Felt miserable all day yesterday, nausea and feverish, this morning woke up to 100.2 and feeling like I had a brick in my stomach. Trying to recover in time to go to work this afternoon.

I must say I was hoping for a dragon baby, partly because of a dream I had years ago in which I had a son with an asian name, Japanese maybe, that translated as "my little green dragon"... Oh well, superstition and wishful thinking...

I was hoping for a Dragon also, my dad is actually Japanese and a Dragon, so that would've been cute. Chinese new year officially starts Feb 10, 2013, so there is one more month to have a Dragon, but i'm going to say snake, since overall it's based on the year.

Dakipode! Feel better! I ended up with a really bad stomach flu too this cycle (which was cruel considering I thought I was nauseous for a good reason!) boo!

In Chinese culture, people try really hard to aim for a dragon children... though I haven't really found a specific reason why other than dragons are an ideal in their culture. Maybe the characteristics of being leaders have something to do with it. All my students are telling me I should get pregnant and have a dragon baby while I still can (if only it was that easy ha ha). I am born in mid January and thought I was a rat for a long time but then realized I was a pig since the Chinese new year starts later. I went through a mild personality crisis (k I'm joking).

LOL! That brightened my day a bit. AF came so I'm back to the start. Had pretty much already "mourned" my missed chance this cycle on Sunday but still disappointed.

Baby dust to all and here's to a productive month of May!

Hey smile.gif
New here, may I join?

Jumping in to join. My period started on March 21 and I am on CD29/10 DPO. My boobs are sore and feel like they are squeezing out of my bra and all food tastes so bland to me. All I want to eat is really salty pizza and really sweet regular coke. (Coke has been my earliest cravings for both of my pregnancies.) I am not feeling particularly hopeful this month although I should because we had sex 3 times within the 2 days that I ovulated. My period should start in another 6 days. I really don't even feel motivated to test because I feel like if I POAS it will be negative for sure. *I have a 16 day LP* I wish I didn't feel so blah about this month. I should be really hopeful...

I am 7dpo and fighting desparately the urge to POAS.  I find myself bargaining.... if my temp doesnt drop tomorrow then that is a good sign and I can test... but every once in a while it doesnt drop until 9dpo so maybe saturday.  No matter my cycle length I always have a 9 day LP so I keep telling myself to wait until at least Sunday but we will see.  Anyone else feeling the irrational need to test even though it would probably be BFN no matter what?

I'm pretty sure I've taken an irrational test in my time too. :)

Just the fact that I'm obsessed with these 2WW boards and I'm not even in the 2WW yet, proves I'm irrational!  I wish I can test, but I'm still waititing to O, its all about the BDing for me this week. Good luck to you!

Hi all... posting in the 2ww thread for the first time. I miscarried last June. We put TTC on hold because the timing wasn't great after my MC, and then we started again in late Feb. No luck the 1st cycle. Was disappointed it didn't work right away (my MC pregnancy was my first cycle ever trying)... but I realize it takes time sometimes.

It's my second cycle trying this time around, and I have high hopes. My chart looks PERFECT. I drank lots of red raspberry leaf tea during the first half of my cycle. I know exactly when I ovulated and we had sex 4 times right when I had lots of EWCM. I'm waiting to test until 11 DPO, which is Thursday April 26. Last month I tested like constantly starting from 8 DPO and I think that was a mistake, it made me crazy.

So next Thursday I have a friend in town that night and she wants to take me out for a cocktail, so that seemed like a good time to test! If I get a negative on 11 DPO, I'll indulge in 1 cocktail :) even if I am pregnant, I don't think a cocktail during the 2ww is gonna damage anything.

But the waiting is KILLING me!

Anyway, I'll be joining this thread and hoping for lots of positives from all of you! Good luck to everyone!!!

Also, I'm Jewish, so I went out and saw a show on Easter, taking advantage of the empty concert halls :)
