I'll take it! It's been an awful week for sleep for the whole family. I have heard that can really affect weight, and I'm feeling it. Haven't had the energy to really get out and exercise with the kids, and I think I've been eating more to keep awake!

 

Here's to a new week and here's praying my 4 yo DS gets over his little head cold and starts sleeping more than an hour at a time. I'm so tired. ZZZzzzzzzzzzz.

 

Oh! I mean, GO BLUE!

167.2 I am pretty excited about that number. I just started AF so felt like I would be up or the same if I was lucky. If I can have a good week this week and the water from AF goes away I feel like I could see a big loss.

But I am not surprised; last week we decided to take an unplanned trip. We have been here five days and have not been eating too well.  (Plus I stress eat when I need to fly.)  Our scale at this house may be a little off too (hopefully weighing in higher than the scale at home).  I have been swimming and planned to canoe and hike but one of the kids ended up sick the past few days.

 

Anyway, I am jumping in the pool to swim laps after I type this.  We will be home in a couple of days and I will get back on track.

 

Blue team...Sorry to let you down.

196.2 this morning.

 

I am SHOCKED to be down - I thought I would be lucky to maintain with all the birthday goodies.  I have mostly been focused on eliminating my problem foods thus far (sugar, cheese, breads) and I have really been sticking to it thus far, with the exception of my birthday.  I am surprised, because food and portion control are my ongoing weaknesses.  Usually I enjoy excersize, but don't see much change in the scale because I cheat on the food end.  So I am ready to amp up the workouts (I have just been walking) and start C25K this week, and alternate running days with a strength training video.  I am planning to start tomarrow as I am taking it easy today.  We decided we were sick of moving and stayed up till 3 am last night finishing off the move.  So today I will get some extra rest, and tomarrow I will hit the eliptical at 6 am!

I went shopping today and there was a HUGE row of clearance Easter merchandise and CANDY! I picked up several bags of candy...

214!   This is the first time I've lost 2 lbs in a week.   It looks like exercising for over an hour each time is the key for me. Also wearing hockey gear adds extra weight training. Lol

147.8 for the 2nd week in a row. I guess it's better than gaining but I am a bit down since I walked A TON this week (I have no choice.. carless) but I have to admit, my eating wasn't spectacular.

 

Next Saturday is Easter part 2 with my mom and brother but it's a much smaller get together so much LESS food and since it's at my house, I control what's available to eat so I am aiming for fruit and veggie trays, low fat ham and very few carbs!

 

BSM just wanted to give you a big virtual *hug*

Easter weekend was terrible food (and alcohol) wise.  We had just finished swearing of junk and crap and dedicating ourselves to being back on the wagon this week, when my parents turned up with a bunch of (vegan!) brownies and fudge.  UGH!  I told Mum off big time.  My plan is to freeze the individual portions as a treat for every now and then.  After a LOT of exercise.

i did two laps around in the loop in the forest preserve. it took 20 minutes each lap, and at least a good half of it was steeply uphill. i'm guessing total 3.5 miles? i was walking / pulling the wagon with kids for 40 minutes. we'll see what it does for my weight tomorrow morning...

 

... ***should*** put me into the 143s at least. it would be really really nice to get to 142 by wednesday morning, but i can't go back to that forest preserve again tomorrow.

I haven't been online for a while due to a family emergency. I was in San Diego for the weekend and this morning I weighed 190lbs on my sisters scale. Earlier this week I weighed 185lbs so I am pretty sure my sisters scale is off. I doubt I gained 5lbs in one weekend. It is possible though, with everything that's been going on I haven't been able to excersize or really stick to my diet.

BlueStateMama- I'm sorry to hear that.

209.8 for blue. Not much, but better than a gain. It was nice to get some exercising (aside from volleyball) in this week, and I'm hoping to do a couple of extra days this week.

208.5 up .5. I had a big blister on my foot from my long run on Sunday so I only did water exercise (and there Easter candy :/ ). Finally popped the blister yesterday. Why different i not do that before? I expect improvement for next weigh in.
