As a mom who lost a newborn baby, I know having his life affirmed is so important and healing. I'm sure his mama would be blessed to see his name with the rest and to know we're all grieving with her and acknowledging his brief but precious life.

I agree. A dear friend of mine had a full-term still born boy twenty years ago. We acknowledge his birth and her loss every year on his birthday (which is the same day as mine).

I agree, I have a sister that was stillborn and I think the hardest thing for my Mom is how everyone is so uncomfortable with it and doesn't acknowledge it.  Honoring his short life seems right to me.

As for zuzu, I don't see any posts since 2/18, and I think her little boy was born sometime after that?  Anyone know his name from FB?  I don't think she'd mind us adding him without a formal announcement.

Zuzu's

Well, many of you probably know, but Bradley Douglas Jr joined our family this morning at 8:34. He weighs 8lbs 4oz, was 20in long, and determined to be about 36 weeks (original due dates were right). We're resting, but I'll post pictures tonight or tomorrow! _it was on March 2nd

I updated with Autumn and Zuzu.  I can't believe we've had so few births at this point. The month is almost over and only 3 babies have been born "early."  That's crazy.

I know, I was thinking that too...however, I think it's probably a good thing. It means more of our babies are being born full term..or even "more" full term! I know they consider 37 weeks as "full term" but I'm under the opinion that the closer to 40 weeks, the better in most cases. Every day in the womb is important!

Well I was going to get on here and write a 'I might be in labor' post yesterday but I ran out of time! DD2 (first name Liana, middle name Pearl) born at home, in the water, after a short but intense labor yesterday, March 29, right at 40 wks! (our midwives kept saying my due date was March 31 but I think that was based on DD1 being a bit late, but yesterday was 40 wks post LMP). She was 6 lbs 11 oz, 20.5" long and has quite the suckle reflex, Yowzers! Once I get to my comouter, I'll try and get a picture up.

Coraline was born early this morning (12:33am 3-30-12) in the water with about 3 pushes. she is my smallest and earliest baby at 7 lbs 12 oz, 20 3/4 inches and 39 weeks 4 days.  she nurses like a champ, sucks her thumb and seems to be very easy going.
