no morning sickness....is that ok?

I am in my sixth week...and this is my first time.

so far...I have no morning sickness at all...

some other symptoms I have had since my 4th, 5th week are....sore breasts, lower back pain and heartburn (mostly every morning).

but no nausea, feeling queasy etc....

Is it normal to have no morning sickness during pregnancy?

Yes, there are women who are pregnant with no m/s.  I always get it a bit later... week 7 with my first, and week 11 with my second.  So you may still get it, or you may not.  Either way, it's not a sign that anything's wrong.  :-)

I'm 6w5d and it's just starting to get kind of gross for me.

I rarely vomit when pregnant but I know weeks 7-8-9 are usually the worst for me.

I usually feel pretty good up until this week.

You might be cursing yourself in a few days by jinxing yourself....

I had horrible ms with both kids.  I'm 6 weeks tomorrow, and am still feeling pretty good.  I'm feel a little nauseous in the morning when I am hungry, but nothing compared to what I am used to.  Either it will hit later this pregnancy, or not at all, which would be a miracle!

I am very blessed in that I have never had any morning sickness in my previous pregnancies .  In fact I usually don't experience many pregnancy symptoms i.e heartburn, backache, food aversions. I'm the most boring pregnant woman.  I hope this one is much the same!

I'm like Simonsez...no m/s, no major pregnancy symptoms, nothing but a little sciatic nerve pain at the end of my 2nd pregnancy. I'm hoping for another kick back pregnancy too smile.gif

I'm 5w3d today...I've had little waves of nausea but nothing too serious. I wouldn't mind a little bit just to reassure me (I worry a lot!), but it would be lovely if I didn't get it too bad!

yeah guess i worry a lot too....I keep wondering...."y am I not feeling nauseous?"

blame it on the hormones :)

I was just wondering the same exact thing! I believe I am 5 weeks, 5 days - Due Nov 13. I havent been experiencing any symptoms at all really. My breasts are extremely tender and very occasionally I will get a slight wave of nausea. Nothing noticable, really. The only thing I have noticed is A LOT of CM! A lot of snot-like CM. Too much information, SORRY!

Anyone else experiencing that?

And I have no CM at all... I am so dry since last couple weeks....

Kalani- Yep, one of the reasons I suspected I was pregnant was the CM. Last pregnancy and this one I have lots of it!

Wantabeanrat- Can you take another pregnancy test if you are worried? I feel for you, all this silent waiting in pregnancy can be so very hard. I try not to think about it a lot...

The cm thing is so interesting! With my last two kids, I knew I was pregnant just a few days after O, because instead of going from fertile to dry CM, I went from fertile to creamy CM. And my cervix felt high, soft and closed.

This time I had such a funky cycle to begin with that I didn't see any definite post-O CM pattern.

As far as the nausea goes, I had zero nausea ever with my first son. It was wonderful! I never knew pregnancy could be like that! lol.gif

I only had morning sickness with my first. And lucky enough it was actually only in the morning and if I slept in, I was fine! LOL

It's amazing what a couple days can do!  6w4d and now feeling pretty lousy!  And here I was, thinking "this pregnancy might be different".

I didn't really have nausea with my first unless I smelled something that set me off, and it didn't start until week 7ish. I think I've vomited once in the past 25 years, so that probably won't happen anyway.

I didn't have really bad morning sickness with most of my pregnancies, except for one (i've had 6).  Each pregnancy is completely different, so just go with what your body is doing - any signs and symptoms are a good thing, and if you don't have morning sickness, then yay! :)
