I just made the greatest discovery! So looking through the "natural" sunblocks, I found that none of them were as natural as I would like. The active ingredient I saw most often was zinc oxide in 6 percent. So I went over to the diaper aisle and vetted the butt creams and there I found that Boudreaux's Butt Paste is truly natural (they had two kinds: one not-so-good, and one natural). Zinc oxide is 16 percent. It rubs on clear and is water proof.
I just tested it out on a three day camping trip at a swimming hole in AZ. It was the first sun of the year for all seven of us, we're all of northern-euro desent, and we were in swimsuits and in the water all day, including that 10-2 intense time. No sun burns! I mixed mine with a natural salve I make so I could get started on my summer tan, and I'm so impressed.
I have no financial interest in this company or anything like that, but I'm so happy that I didn't have to spend a fortune to order something online that was up to my standards, so I just wanted to share that here.
