Im here in Central Texas and due to the crazy drought we've been in, beef is disappearing left and right. Ive asked many beef producers at my local farmer's markets and EVERYBODY is out or about to run out until 2014!
I would really like to purchase a side of beef (whether that be 1/8, 1/4, etc) but has anyone done this long distance, i.e. not locally? How did that go and how did you find it? I mean, i know about eatwild.com but has anyone actually done this so I can get an idea of how you ordered it, how you paid for it and how you received it?
ETA: Nevermind, I think i researched enough to answer my own questions.
