Wiggly Baby

Does anyone else have a vibrator baby?  This one has not been a super mover, but is really wiggly, and sometimes wiggles really fast.  I'm not worried about it, just think it's funny that the movement feels so much like I have tummy trouble.  It actually makes me feel a litlte sick to my stomach sometimes!

Anybody else have a baby that vibrates sometimes?  Or just feels really squirmy all over?

I almost googled something along the lines of "seizures in utero" because she was doing exactly what you're explaining.  I decided against Dr. Google because I just don't think that's a good idea...I'm too hormonal :)  It feels SO weird though.  Last night was the first time she did it.  She has been really active prior to that, just not all vibratey (that's not a word).

I succombed to Dr Google a month or two ago.  We're good.  It's very common and normal.  But, I was scared to do it, too.  Seizures is *exactly* what comes to mind.

I even read one explaination is that the baby is rooting to find its thumb.  Oh!  That makes my heart melt.  SO cute!

*whew*

I guess they can't see too well in there to find their thumb...haha.  It's really sweet to think about those things :)

I have avoided googling womb seizures too but seriously! I get that feeling a LOT! It feels weird but I vaguely remember this with at least one of my girls so maybe it's normal? I think at this moment my curiosity might just get the better of me and ill call on Dr. Google.

I recommend NOT googling womb seizures. smile.gif just FYI. But according to dr google it's 1) almost always 100% normal and 2) quite possibly the uterus having a muscle spasm and not the baby at all...even though it might be precipitated by baby's movements or the baby might move right after like hey mom, what up with the vibrating? smile.gif

Think it's normal and it sounds like it's super common to start feeling between 29-32 weeks.

I never heard of such! I haven't really felt anything like that either.Mine feels like she is sideways sometimes. its weird

Yup, vibrating sideways baby. Gotcha here. I was sort of expecting it, but still surprised when it first happened!

I thought about Googling that too.  lol  It's the weirdest feeling.  I don't remember that at all with DD.  She just did normal kicks and punches.  This one is all over the place.  Rolling?  Stretching?  Flipping?  Headbutting?  The Hustle?  The Macarena?  Who knows, but she's VERY active.  Sometimes her movement is so sudden and strong that it moves my whole torso.  I don't know how to really explain it accurately, but it's VERY strong movement.  I'm tempted to just sit here and video my belly sometime.  It's pretty entertaining.

Okay I think I'm starting to feel better about the spastic baby I'm growing :)  It's just too funny sometimes.  I'm really interested to see what the MW or MD says about her position though (on Wednesday) because I felt like she was transverse this morning.  I've already found some stuff on Spinning Babies, if she is indeed transverse.   Now if she could just be wiggly during the day and not while I'm trying to sleep...that would be nice.

Yeah, sorry about that.  My post makes it sound like nothing bad comes up.  It does, but overwhelmingly, IMO, it's deemed normal.
