I mentioned this elsewhere, because my baby does the same thing-- big correlation between my eating and him/her getting the hiccups. The thing is, my first son did this too. And he ended up with multiple food allergies. My second son rarely had in utero hiccups, and has no food allergies. And I've talked with other moms of food allergic kids who have noticed the same phenomenon. So... I'm not holding my breath (har har), but I will be paying special attention to possible food allergy symptoms once this baby is born. I'm off wheat, but nothing else right now.
