trying to find a pedi..

im trying to find a pediatrician in the greensburg, north versailles, east pittsburgh area that respects our decision to not vaccinate. we just moved here from texas and have NO IDEA how to find a pediatrician or family doctor!! HELP!!! what do i do? i also need mommy friends, my daughter is 5 months old and we are the first on both sides of our families who do not vaccinate. im new to mothering.com as well... where to start?!

Try the tribal area here on mdc for advice/groups/meeting people in your area. Bfing? - maybe try LLL meetings to meet some moms?

also try natural food stores as they sometimes have a bulletin board with business cards...or someone at the store mite know someone.

thank you! im new to the boards and to this town... so trying to navigate this board as well as around town is a little difficult! how can i find a LLL meeting? sorry for being clueless!

call your local pediatrician or WIC office...they should be able to direct you to a LLL number at least....

Health food store is a good idea... sometimes they also have free publications you can pick up and look for info about groups/activities, services, etc.
