We're naming our baby Ivy Jane. The meaning of Ivy is obviously the ivy plant, but it symbolizes determination and preserverence, which is special to me since she comes after a miscarriage and TTCing for a year. Jane means "God is gracious," which is appropriate since she is a very prayed-for baby.

Our older daughter is Anna Kate. Anna means "grace" and Katherine/Kate means "pure," so I say her name means "pure grace," and she lives up to it for sure

She has always been a little lady, right from birth.
With our first child, Chase Aaron, we were 18 and didn't pay attention to name meanings. Chase means "hunter" and Aaron means "lightbearer" and is my husband's middle name.
Gavin means "white hawk," and he was platinum blonde until just recently, so very appropriate. Christopher means "Christ-bearer" and is my husband's first name.
